Brightwood Ranch Camp is a ministry of Hope Mission

Building Lives Worth Living

Bailley says being able to be at camp is a blessing. "I think the donors are really wonderful – it’s really nice of them to help us go to camp." That sentiment is echoed by 11-year old Krystal Neuman. "I’m very grateful to the donors – I really want to thank them because I am having a great time. I always have fun here…this is a great camp." And Krystal would know – this is the sixth time she has attended a Hope Mission summer camp. She says she likes riding the horses best and learning new things. "I’m learning about God. I am also learning how to respect and obey God as well as other people."

"There are also stories that break your heart- kids who suffer abuse, neglect, in foster homes/group homes, a mom who is dying in hospital, a boy who used to visit his mom every two weeks and then one time he goes for a visit and she had moved – that was two years ago and he has not seen nor heard from her since, a boy who hasn’t seen his mom in 11 years, brothers and sisters who live in different homes, lots of hurt."

"But camp is a place of refuge and God is a father to the Fatherless. He has worked in the lives of kids this summer and will continues to do so."  -Brent A.

A mom writes to Brightwood Ranch Camp...

"I am writing you to let you know just how much I appreciate you. You are truly a gift from God. My boys had a wonderful summer last year thanks to you. I am a single mom with three kids. They are excited to come back this year!"

A Brightwood Camp Counselor says...

"I love what I do…to watch the kids grow and challenge themselves. It is also character deepening for me. When you see a difference in the kids – it’s delightful and encouraging. I hope to be planting seeds here – providing the kids with a role model for a week and showing them Jesus."

Tyler, a camper, shares...

"It’s really fun here – all of the activities and the people here make it really good. It’s really nice of all those people to donate money so I could come to camp."
