Volunteers remain at the heart of Hope Mission’s ministries.

A volunteer writes: Thank you very much for the uplifting experience I had while volunteering for you at your Easter Dinner. I have always thought about volunteering but never seemed to find the time. But when I saw your ad in the paper I had this strong feeling that I just needed to do it! And I can’t express how glad I am that I did. It was just the thing I needed at this point in my life. It’s hard to explain to people how dishing up salad, filling juice glasses or even doing dishes can be so rewarding and make you feel so good inside. I know that in the very near future I will be making time to volunteer my time again.

• Close to 200 individual volunteers help regularly in our Kitchen Services area.

• Hundreds of volunteers help cater Spring, Easter, Summer banquets, Thanksgiving, Dinner Theater & Annual Christmas Dinners.

• Groups volunteer to provide entertainment for our special events.

• Over 90 people volunteer monthly for the Evening Gospel Services
